Adding the ADPT-M1 to your BWG-M1 Micro gimbal will improve the offset from the panning-axis of your ballhead. Moving the center of your lens closer to the panning axis makes panning smoother and easier. We do recommend this for most BWG-M1 setup cases, unless your ballhead has a very tall neck or if weight savings are critical. Simple to install- use the 2 included screws and Allen key to mount it directly to the M1.
